When my father was diagnosed with cancer we spent a lot of time together at the hospital. A friend had heard of your StoryCatcher program and told me about the interview guide. This was the perfect project to complete together and it helped take his mind off of the diagnosis. I learned so much about him, things I never would have known before. Thanks for making this possible!

When I found out that my mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s I knew we had to find a way to save her life stories quickly. I bought a StoryCatcher and then flew up to interview mom about her life. The weekend together is a special memory , and the completed kit is a priceless treasure that I’m glad we completed when she still could.

My parents already have everything... so when it comes time to get them something special, it’s always a struggle! That’s why I was excited to hear about your two kits. This is something that they had never done before. They had a blast completing the interviews with the kids and it made for a wonderful keepsake. Not sure how we can top this next year!

My father is a natural story teller at every family event. I’ve known for a while we needed to start writing his stories down, but my brother and I just kept putting it off. When a friend showed us the StoryCatcher we decided to finally stop procrastinating and give it a try. He has so much fun telling his best stories and I feel great knowing that we now can rest easy having his stories saved!

When it came time to help mom downsize into a smaller house we didn’t know what to do with her old collection of photographs. Instead of putting them away in storage we completed the PhotoCatcher. It has been fun to learn about the photos I’d never seen before and now Mom has a great keepsake to proudly display in her new home.

We bought the PhotoCatcher to complete with my parents on a recent family trip. It was fun getting out all of their old photos and choosing the best ones. The kids loved hearing the stories and the completed album hasn’t sat still all week since all of us keep picking it up. It was the perfect activity to complete as a family!
